Course Recognition

Hayton Travel College, established by travel industry professionals, has offered industry-recognised training in the essential skills of the travel industry since 1976. These same skills are still required for a Travel Industry career, however, today the training required to achieve them is available online with effective interactive courses.

Starting with IATA accredited and Industry recognised Travel Consultant courses, Hayton developed into a multi-state private training provider through the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s delivering classroom training courses to airline personnel, travel agents and employees of many travel related companies as well as beginners with no previous experience of the Travel Industry. Around 90% + of students graduating from pre-employment courses for school leavers found work in this exciting industry. All courses were accredited by the Australian Tourism Training Review Panel (ATTRP) from its  inception.

Hayton’s specialist IATA fares and Ticketing courses teaching the Mileage System of Fare Construction, the background knowledge required to accurately construct global airfares have been recognised by IATA since 1976.

CRS/GDS and IATA FAres courses are also ASQA listed meaning students who demonstrate competence in the final assessments are issued with Statements of Attainment outlining the Units of Competence covered.
